Annie Long is a visual artist with hand built ceramic sculpture at the heart of her practice. Originally from Sydney, she completed an Advanced Diploma in Ceramics in 2002, concentrating on sculpture. After moving to the Northern Rivers in 2011, she completed a degree in Visual Arts (3D) with Honours in 2016 at Southern Cross University, expanding her art practice to explore multimedia sculptures and installations. In recent years, exploration into local stories and the local environment have become an increasing inspiration for her art practice. She has exhibited in solo and group shows in Australia, Japan, and Italy.
