The surfacing and texture of the blocks in this artwork are as unique and personal as the students that created them. Apparent differences in size, shape and detail reflect and celebrate our individuality and personal choices. As each piece is made from the same material, we are also reminded of our commonality, shared needs and basic make up. This collaboration of individual blocks, bound together and exhibited as a whole could be considered a reflection of our community and our place within it.
