What if art wasn't confined to gallery walls?

Every three years, Brunswick Heads transforms into an open-air gallery where sculpture, nature and community come together. Artists from across Australia create site-responsive works inspired by the region's mangroves, riverbanks, dunes, and changing light. Visitors discover each piece by walking along the beach and along the river.
Art Inspired by Nature Many sculptures are crafted from natural or reclaimed materials, including timber, stone, woven fibre, recycled metal and found objects. Some are bold and monumental; others are quiet and unexpected. The exhibition is intentionally temporary, with each work returning to artists, collectors or new homes after the event - making every Sculpture Walk a unique moment in time. A Celebration of Community More than an art exhibition, the Brunswick Nature Sculpture Walk celebrates creativity, environmental stewardship and community. Artists, volunteers, schools, local businesses, visitors and supporters all play a part in bringing it to life. We remain committed to celebrating and supporting First Nations artists and culture, and to recognising the deep connection between Country, community and creativity. |
